Frequently asked questions
Clear answers for hosts planning a social doubles session.
What is an Americano?
An Americano is a social doubles format where partners and opponents rotate from round to round. Each Participant earns their own points across the session.
How does Padel And Pint keep things fair?
Before play, Padel And Pint generates a Schedule and shows a plain-language Fairness summary. Hosts can review the planned balance of partner and opponent encounters, participation, and Rests.
What happens when someone needs a Rest?
When there are more active Participants than court capacity, the Schedule includes Rests. The Fairness summary makes the planned Rest balance visible, and the Leaderboard shows Rests alongside matches played.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Padel And Pint is local-first: Tournament data stays on the device, and the essential hosting flow works after installation without reception or a login.
Can I use it for tennis or pickleball?
Padel And Pint is built for padel. You can use its Classic Americano workflow for compatible social doubles sessions, including tennis or pickleball, but it does not provide dedicated rules, scoring presets, or interface treatment for those sports.
